Built in the mid nineteenth century by David Gelston Floyd. Favorite Place on The King’s Highway in Greenport is most distinguished in the way its destiny has been shaped by two of the most prominent North Fork families - the Youngs and the Floyds. When viewed from the Main Road opposite its intersection with Manhanset Avenue, the house appears as a grand Victorian cottage.
